Do you remember Didò? Now with glitter!

I don't know if it's just an Italian brand but, do you remember Didò? It's a coloured plasticine I used to play with when I was in kindergarten. I got the chance to touch and smell it again a few days ago and, guess what? They make it with glitter too now! So fashionable! Do you used to play with Didò? If so, what did you model with it?

Non so se sia una marca unicamente italiana, ma voi vi ricordate del Didò? E' una plastilina colorata, ci giocavo quando ero all'asilo. Un paio di giorni fa ho avuto l'occasione di averla di nuovo fra le mani e indovinate? lo fanno pure con i brillantini ora! Anche il pongo è alla moda ora! E voi giocavate con il Didò? Cosa modellavate?

Laomi, natural jewels

It's a while I wanted to show you this "natural" jewels realized by an artist, Laomi, I've discovered when I worked as goldsmith. Silver, gold, pearls and mosaic skillfully weaved to create leaves, branches, flowers and even bugs.

E' da un po' che vi voglio fare vedere questi bellissimi gioielli "naturali" realizzati da un'artista, Laomi, che ho scoperto quando lavoravo come orafa. Oro, argento, perle e mosaico abilmente intrecciati per creare foglie, rami, fiori e persino insetti tutti da indossare.

Works by this studio are amazing! I like the description they give of themselves, so I just quote: "Le Creative Sweatshop is a creative studio based in Paris at the crossroads of fashion, design, contemporary art, and architecture. Le Creative Sweatshop has developed its world around fixed and dynamic works of volume."


I progetti di questo studio sono incredibili! Mi piace la descrizione che scrivono di loro stessi, quindi cito semplicemente: "Le Creative Sweatshop è uno studio creativo situato a Parigi all'incrocio delle strade della moda, il design, l'arte contemporanea, e l'architettura. Le Creative Sweatshop ha sviluppato il suo mondo attorno progetti dai volumi fermi e dinamici."

I've just discovered a this cool website: Pinterest (I know, you probably already use it since Middle Ages but I'm a bit late sometimes...) Anyway, if you don't know it, Pinterest is a useful website where you can collect and organize everything you like from the web and share it with you followers. I've collected just some graphics and shoes so far but I'd like to share them with you, so have a look at them here and if you already use Pinterest, please follow me and I'll follow you!

Ho appena scoperto questo sito molto interessante: Pinterest (lo so, magari voi già lo conoscete da un bel po' ma a volte arrivo tardi...) In ogni caso, se non lo conoscete, Pinterest è un sito molto utile nella quale potete raccogliere e organizzare tutto ciò che vi piace sul web e condividerlo con i vostri followers. Per ora ho raccolto solo alcune grafiche e scarpe ma mi piacerebbe farvele vedere, potete darci un'occhiata qui e se già lo utilizzate diventate follower e io avrò il piacere di seguire voi!
