Jelly & Light by Le Creative Sweatshop
I already posted about Le Creative Sweatshop here, but they are so fast producing great projects that I have to post about them again today. Jelly & Light is the project which joins designer lamps with jelly, this could look very odd but as a matter of fact the result is awesome.
Ho già parlato di Le Creative Sweatshop qui, ma sono così veloci a creare nuovi bellissimi progetti che devo postare qualcosa su di loro anche oggi. Jelly & Light è un progetto che unisce lampade di design con gelatina colorata, può sembrare strano ma il risultato è davvero sorprendente.

Creative people stay where you couldn't imagine: C/O a concept store
While preparing Paris' posts I want to show you how, sometimes, cool stuff can be also found in unknown places. As a matter of fact, my hometown is a very small city nonetheless you here can be found very creative people and quite nice design places. So here you are the first post of a series, dedicated to the nice shops in my town area, Udine. Hope you enjoy them as I do!
_ C/O is a concept store, a beautiful shop full of design items carefully chosen by the owner who travels and visits fairs to find the best ideas for his shop. He also told me as he always is amazed by as the skillful touch of the designer can transform in poetry the simplest object as a toothbrush could be. Here you are some picture of it, but if you ever get the chance have a look in person.
Mentre preparo i post di Parigi, vorrei mostrarvi come, a volte, le cose 'cool' (che parola italiana usereste per definire 'cool', non credo di aver trovato un corrispondente ad hoc finora) possono essere anche nei posti più sconosciuti. Infatti, la cittadina dove abito è piccola, nonostante ciò ci sono molti creativi e numerosi luoghi in cui il design la fa da padrone. Ecco quindi l'inizio di una serie di post dedicati ai negozi che mi piacciono a Udine. Spero che li apprezziate anche voi!

Ho fatto alcune foto per voi, ma questo negozio merita davvero uno sguardo se avete l'occasione di fare un giro nei paraggi.

Shakespear and Company: THE bookshop of English books in Paris
Shakespear and Company is THE bookshop of English books in Paris. A friend of mine adviced me this beatiful place, just a few steps away from Notre-Dame Cathedral, at the 37 of rue da la Bucherie.
Open til late 7 days a week, this is what I would define a living bookshop. Tiny rooms full of books from the floor to the ceiling, both new and second-hand, observed touched savoured by hundreds of people every day. And upstairs? (More books and...) The music room, with a piano and his player and a poet pleasently chatting with the people who came to hear some poetry reading. A place I would definitely advice, even for a non-book-lover, the only atmosphere is enough to amaze anyone. They also organize a festival, have a look here.

Shakespear and Company è LA libreria di libri in inglese a Parigi. Questo magnifico posto, consigliatomi da un'amica, si trova a pochi passi da Notre-Dame, in rue de la Bucherie 37. Aperto fino a tardi 7 giorni a settimana, questo è quello che io definirei una libreria vivente. Minuscole stanze piene di libri dal pavimento al soffitto, sia nuovi che di seconda mano, osservati sfogliati assaporati da centinaia di persone ogni giorno. E di sopra? (Ancora libri e...) La stanza della musica, con un piano e il suo suonatore e un poeta che chiacchiera con coloro che sono venuti ad ascoltare la lettura delle sue poesie. Un posto che consiglio davvero, anche per i non amanti dei libri, la sola atmosfera è sufficiente a meravigliare chiunque. Organizzano anche un festival, date un'occhiata qui.

Are you ready for a spring in pastel colours?
Here I am, walking again on Italian soil. I'm not ready yet to show you the little beautiful pieces of Paris I collected (I haven't even downloaded the pictures on my laptop) so here I am for a different post. Coming back I realized that days are getting longer and March is right around the corner, so... Are you ready for spring? (I am, I probably already was at the end of summer, I can't bear cold temperatures!) And, are you ready for (brand)new bright/light/pastel colours?

Ed eccomi qui di nuovo a passeggio sul suolo italiano. Non sono ancora pronta per farvi vedere i pezzi della bella Parigi catturati dalla macchina fotografica (non ho ancora scaricato le foto sul portatile) quindi sono qui per scrivere a proposito di qualcosa di diverso. Ritornando a casa mi sono accorta di quanto le giornate si siano allungate e ho realizzato che marzo è ormai alle porte, quindi... pronti per la primavera? (Io si, probabilmente lo era già alla fine dell'estate, non posso definirmi un'amante del freddo!) E siete pronti per i nuovi (o quasi) colori brillanti/chiari/pastello?

Ways to wear a men's shirt - especially a 2€'s one!
The other day I bought a second hand men's shirt in a tiny market for 2€ (what a bargain, ah?!). It's nice and looks almost new and after a couple of spins in the washing mashine it will be totally mine. I do not look that good in shirts actually, but hey, I think I can spend less that a cappuccino for another one of them! So waiting for more suitable temperatures, I'm already searching for the best way to wear it. Any advice?
L'altro giorno ho comprato una camicia da uomo di seconda mano al mercato per 2€ (che affare eh?!). E' bella e sembra quasi nuova e dopo un paio di giri di lavatrice, sarà davvero mia. In realtà non mi stanno molto bene le camicie, tuttavia ho pensato che potevo spendere meno di un cappuccino per comprarmene un'altra! Aspettando quindi temperature più adatte, cerco il modo migliore di indossarla. Consigli?
